Excerpt from the article...
Rochester, Still a Cradle of Invention
By David Cay Johnston
“We could have eaten near nearby at the former propeller
factory turned lively Italian restaurant and patio bar called Pomodoro, but we
chose to return to our hotel neighborhood and walk three blocks to a former car
detail shop turned French bistro. 2Vine
(named for the detail shop’s address on an alley that is now it’s parking lot)
has become so popular that our hosts at the inn suggested we order one course
at a time to ensure a leisurely dinner. We did, and we enjoyed the fabulous
food right down to the chocolate–wrapped crème brulee.”
